ART CINEMA AWARD

The CICAE Award for Art Cinema.

Since its inception in 1955, the CICAE rewards films shown in festivals in a move to bring them to the attention of programmers and audiences.

Originally, films were selected by the General Meeting; since the eighties, films have been selected by juries made up of cinema managers and programmers, critics and distributors.

CINEDIVERSITY, a promotional operation, began in 2004 as a means of supporting award-winning films by helping to bring them to distributors, screens and audiences in France, Germany and Italy, through screenings to trade, free articles and the distribution to audiences of information material.
